Description

P440 is a general-purpose PVC paste resin supplied as a fine white powder. It has a medium molecular weight, an average degree of polymerization of approximately 1450 ± 200, and a K-value range of 73–75.

The grade provides good compatibility with plasticizers and other plastisol additives. It is designed to offer controlled paste viscosity, good thermal stability, water resistance, and reliable processing performance.

When mixed with suitable plasticizers and additives, P440 forms a PVC plastisol that can be processed by coating, dipping, spraying, foaming, and other paste-processing methods.

Applications

Typical applications include non-foamed and slightly foamed artificial leather, wallpaper, resilient flooring, PVC carpets, yoga mats, coated fabrics, dipping compounds, surface coatings, and other general-purpose plastisol products.

Packaging

P440 is typically supplied in 20 kg or 25 kg kraft-paper bags with an inner moisture-resistant liner. Jumbo-bag packaging may also be available depending on the manufacturer and current supply arrangement.

Final packing format, palletization, and container-loading quantity should be confirmed when placing an order.

Storage and Handling

Store the product in a clean, dry, cool, and well-ventilated warehouse. Keep the bags protected from moisture, rain, direct sunlight, contamination, and excessive heat.

Keep different production batches separated and use clean, dry transportation equipment. Packaging should remain closed until the material is required for processing.

About PVC Paste Resin

PVC paste resin is a fine-particle PVC powder developed for plastisol processing. The resin itself is supplied as a powder. When mixed with suitable plasticizers, it forms a stable liquid paste known as PVC plastisol.

Fillers, stabilizers, pigments, foaming agents, viscosity modifiers, and other additives may be incorporated according to the required processing behavior and finished-product properties.

After coating, dipping, molding, or another suitable application process, the plastisol is heated to fuse the PVC particles and form the finished flexible or foamed PVC product.
