Product Parameters
Description
P450 is a fine, white PVC paste-resin powder developed for paste-processing applications. It disperses in suitable plasticizers to form plastisols that can be processed through coating, dipping, spraying, casting, foaming, and related techniques.
The grade has an average degree of polymerization of 1000 ± 150 and controlled Brookfield viscosity. It offers good plasticizer compatibility, good foamability, high-speed coating performance, and reliable processing consistency.
Final compound performance depends on the plasticizers, stabilizers, fillers, foaming agents, pigments, and other additives used in the formulation.
Production Process
P450 is produced using a seed-emulsion polymerization process to obtain the fine particle size and dispersion properties required for PVC paste processing.
Applications
Typical applications include surface layers for elastic flooring, conveyor belts, tarpaulins, carpet adhesives, toys, coated products, and other plastisol applications requiring controlled paste viscosity and reliable coating performance.
Final suitability should be confirmed according to the formulation, processing method, applicable regulatory requirements, and required finished-product performance.
Key Characteristics
Packaging
P450 may be supplied in 20 kg or 25 kg moisture-resistant bags, depending on the applicable manufacturer. Jumbo-bag packaging may also be available under selected supply arrangements.
Final bag weight, packing material, palletization, and container-loading quantity should be confirmed when placing an order.
Storage and Handling
Store the product in a clean, dry, cool, and well-ventilated warehouse. Keep the bags protected from direct sunlight, moisture, rain, contamination, and excessive heat.
Different production batches should be stored separately. Use clean and dry transportation equipment, and keep the packaging closed until the material is required for processing.
