Description

Exceed™ m 1018 Series consists of ethylene 1-hexene copolymer resins developed for blown-film applications requiring a strong balance of tensile, impact, puncture, and tear performance.

The resin provides excellent drawability and enables film downgauging while maintaining the mechanical performance required for demanding packaging and industrial-film applications.

Key Characteristics

High tensile strength
Strong puncture resistance
High dart-impact performance
Excellent film drawability
Good tear-strength balance
Supports film downgauging

Applications

  • Agricultural film
  • Bag-in-box film
  • Barrier food packaging
  • Blown and blown-stretch film
  • Bread and freezer bags
  • Form-fill-and-seal packaging
  • Heavy-duty bags
  • Industrial packaging
  • Lamination and multilayer film
  • Overwrap film
  • Stand-up pouches
  • Premium trash bags and liners

Additive Configurations

Film properties are based on approximately 25.4 µm blown film produced on a 63.5 mm film line using a 2.5:1 blow-up ratio, a melt temperature of 206°C, and a die gap of approximately 1.52 mm.

Technical values are typical and may vary according to the selected additive variant, production batch, and processing conditions. Final product specifications should be confirmed through the latest applicable TDS and COA before purchase.

Film Processing

Exceed™ m 1018 Series is intended primarily for blown-film processing. Extrusion temperature, blow-up ratio, cooling conditions, film thickness, and output rate should be adjusted according to equipment design and finished-film requirements.

The resin may be used as a principal film component or as part of a multilayer film structure where improved tensile, puncture, impact, and drawdown performance is required.
